“The Kingdom of heaven is like this. A man sowed good seed in his field. One night, when everyone was asleep, an enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat and went away. When the plants grew and the heads of grain began to form, then the weeds showed up. The man's servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, it was good seed you sowed in your field; where did the weeds come from?’ ‘It was some enemy who did this,’ he answered. ‘Do you want us to go and pull up the weeds?’ they asked him. ‘No,’ he answered, ‘because as you gather the weeds you might pull up some of the wheat along with them. Let the wheat and the weeds both grow together until harvest. Then I will tell the harvest workers to pull up the weeds first, tie them in bundles and burn them, and then to gather in the wheat and put it in my barn.’”
2- Who was Christ speaking to? In the parable of the weeds, Christ was speaking to everyone who is expanding their garden, which is a metaphor. By this garden, Christ meant who we are letting in our lives. The seeds were good, and the weeds were evil. Christ is the only one who truly knows who is weed-like, and who is good.

However, it is clear that the weeds do not know of this beatitude. Weeds look like flowers, if a child is asked to differentiate between a dandelion and a daisy, they will not be able to. They both look similar on the outside. But if the cross section of the roots of the two plants are shown, it is very visible that the dandelion’s roots are way too long and are interfering with the other plants’ roots. Proving that the weeds are reaching out to us to try and pull us towards the devil and away from God. We need to realize it and stop
