War is crucial to maintaining freedom. One very great paradigm is the American Revolutionary War. The United States started out as thirteen colonies ruled by England. Everything was fine and under control until the British began abusing their power. They started by mandating laws like the Quartering Act which stated that the American colonists had to provide the British soldiers with any needed accommodations and housing. It also required colonists to provide food for any British soldiers in the area. This was not the end. Another major issue was taxation
