“A Smile Is Worth So Much More” People often judge or misperceive others appearances in a less than equal manner before they even know the true nature of the person. Every day we make assumptions by what we can see physically. Even in the supermarkets, we distinguish good products from bad products based on how they look. We are apt to choose good-looking products because they don’t have flaws, cracks, and bruises. Moreover, we assume them to have good qualities and good tastes. Actually, taste doesn’t deal with its looking. However, we bias in favor of assuming human nature. Since people judge human beings based on how they look, it is called prejudice. It does have its advantages as I said. I have met the most interesting people that have enhanced my life just by being courteous to them and respecting their ideas. I could not imagine living my life without their insights and friendship on a daily basis. People do trust me with their greatest possessions and secrets more quickly than they do trust others with their greatest possessions and secrets. More often than not, total strangers that I have met for no more than an hour if not less have told me secrets that they have not even shared to their closest friends. The strange part in this is that they are more than willing to tell me their secrets with no instigation from me or from anyone else. At the very least, I have dirt on countless amounts of people. In my conclusion, judging a person is very common in today's society. People every day, judge one another, whether it is judging another's appearance, which is the most common, or judging the way one behaves, everyone is guilty of it. However, in most cases one is making judgments about someone without even knowing a person at all. It is wrong to judge someone because one can really hurt another's feelings, or it may backfire on them, and they may be the one to end up getting hurt. The worst part about judging someone is the fact that most people's judgments are wrong, considering most people judge in a negative manor.
