Personal Narrative: My Trip To Disney World

What is one of the most exhilarating things you have ever done? It would be when me and my family went to Disney World in 2007. In 2006 my sister Maggie was diagnosed with leukemia. She was only 2 years old when she was diagnosed. Maggie was asked by the “Make-a-Wish” foundation what she wanted as her wish and she wished to fly to Florida to go to Disney World. My family and I were so excited to hear that. I remember feeling like my head was going to explode and I also remember jumping up and down along with my 2 other sisters. We were so thrilled. Maggie also wished to ride in a long, black limo on the way to the airport. It has always been a dream of mine to go to Disney but riding in a limo was my biggest dream. My sister and I sat patiently in the living room while my parents talked to the people from the foundation about what we would be doing and where we would stay. After about 30 minutes they all came to the Livingroom and told us that we would be staying there for a week and that we would be staying in a very nice place. We dropped our luggage in our rooms and made our way to Disney. All I could do was jump and scream in my seat as we drove past the Disney World welcome sign. We parked and made our way to the entrance. We got inside the gate and my mouth dropped wide open. I have never been so shocked in my entire life. I was staring at the biggest castle I have ever seen. It was big, white, and here were huge lights hanging from it. Every noise began to fade away as I gazed upon the castle. It was the most amazing thing I have ever laid eyes on. My heart was beating faster than it ever has and I could not describe how excited I was. The best way to describe the feeling would be like getting off of the most insane roller-coaster or ride ever. What I felt at the time is
