With marijuana being available legally, it can lead to a large increase in tax revenue. Not only does it give more money to government from customers and money that businesses spend investing in their crops and shops, gives more wealth and activity to the economy. Having cannabis, plant used to produce hemp fiber in marijuana, taxed, will ultimately lead to all cannabis being taxed. With this large scale sale now for the government, it gives the economy a boost it really needs. With a cut in tax revenue for drug dealers, it would be less profitable for dealers because of the legalization of marijuana, resulting in less violence. This also increases the safety use in consumption by now having a reliable resource. There would be verified stores selling the product, eliminating the risk of any unnecessary and toxic chemicals in the product rather than purchasing the drug from an illegitimate dealer. There is also a decrease of street injustice; if a buyer were to be cheated or lied to by a dealer, the user has no one to help solve the issue. Legalizing marijuana can eliminate the issue of street injustice regarding
