To begin, the penny is one of the biggest factors in raising our debt. Not to mention no body even uses the pennie so we are basicly wasting money on money, need proof well the united states spends around 60.2 million dollars on the pennie, to be honest that's a little much, and plus how would the being gone affect your everyday life. Ask the army the will tell you that it's not cost effective to ship and it has had no dire consequences, like a hand full of protesters around the world are saying it will. I have because the pennie is not pretty and it's color is certainly not its best feature i think of the pennie as a dead battery neither the pennie nor a dead battery have a significant amount of use. Not to mention i have never met someone that sincerely cares for the penny. Mainly for the amount of time people have wasted counting and stressing over them. You could also make the argument that the penny is very heavy and bulky which makes them very uncomfortable to haul around in you
