Pesticides bring forth several controversial issues in today’s society. The use of pesticides has increasingly risen due to the rapid growth of the United States population. The increasing population demands for the production of more food, which leads to the higher chance of disease spreading throughout various foods and economies. In order for a more secure food bank, pesticides and insecticides cover crops to prevent them from damage and disease that other species may cause. Some of the damages of these pesticides that were not used and missed the target consist of: destroying plant life and infecting animals with diseases and possibly killing them. Spraying pesticides over crops numerous times just cause more bad problems than good ones. The use of pesticides without caution pesticides can ultimately lead to consequences that have huge impacts on the plant and animal ecosystems. It’s clearly shown, with statistics and studies to back up the research, that pesticides have a higher chance of hurting plants and animals far more than they do in helping them.
Many people do not realize that pesticides also hurt humans as well. Pesticides contain a poison that have unintended effects on people. Some of the effects from pesticide exposure that humans can undergo prove: memory loss, loss of coronation, visual problems and several more. Many diseases have found that the use of pesticides, even just the exposure, have aided in the starting of the disease for the sickness to occur.
