Police brutality has been on the rise as one of the most important topics. There is a controversial debate whether there should be tougher punishments or if nothing to be done. However, there should always be punishment for unnecessary use of force. But there also times where it could be justified or either the police officer or the victim try to make it justified. Brutality is becoming important to society today because people feel that minorities are being targeted such as African Americans. This topic is now being embedded into social media and the natural world. This idea has started all kinds of movements and riots throughout the United States.

One of the largest concerns is privacy issues. There are laws that are to protect rights of citizens by having each citizen give consent in order for video or pictures to be taken. If police officers approach anyone with a recording camera, civilians might say that their privacy rights are being violated. Privacy is a big issue and if body cameras being to show all information being recorded without consent there could be counter problems towards police officers and law enforcement officials. Privacy is one of the greatest rights any citizen can have and having that taken away from them is a large issue. These cameras would not work well because if the public were able to access the videos being recorded, it would not protect the subjects at all and it would cause problems.
