Following the death of the Prophet Muhammad in 632, his successors launched attacked and conquered vast swaths of land in both the Roman and Sasanian Empires. One of these regions included the Roman province of Palestine, and the city of Jerusalem. With this conquest in mind, it is important to delve into a deeper understanding of if and how the way of life for the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and Palestine had changed. When analyzing the two primary it clear that there are two perspectives after the Arab conquests.
