The meaning of building resilience through redundancy refers to the ability to carry on with normal operations given most any factor (Crandall et. al., 2014). This crisis management tool can be compared to the training of law enforcement, as we train the same as we would act in an event. The training, redundancy, law enforcement officers do regularly assist with the building of muscle memory which allows them to respond appropriately to a situation, resilience.

It is important to train and learn as a team when planning for a crisis, this allows for the flow of ideas as well as a cohesive approach to management (Crandall et. al., 2014). The ability to build a cohesive group for crisis management is paramount to being resilient through a crisis.
