Problem Statement: Savannah is host city to one of the largest ports in the United States and one of the top tourist destinations in the country. Framing the port on the Savannah River is the riverfront walk, which is in need of a major update. As tourist numbers increase to over 13M visitors per year, so does the congestion of the riverfront and amount of waste and excess litter. The growing problem that presents itself is that the plaza lacks for comfortable seating areas and respite for tourists to gather, along with detrimental littering to the riverfront environment. This makes the riverfront more of a tourist souvenir alley where people are not able to sit and view
