Shakespeare was a great writer of his time, Macbeth was one of his masterpieces. There were different movies made out of the story and the one in class we watched was directed by Rupert Goold. The book and the movie were quite different in many ways but they also tried to have a similar storyline and details. The main difference alone is that one is a play with people watching and one is a movie that reaches across more people in the world.
The play and the movie were alike in many ways. In the play there are evil witches that state what is to come, in the movie there are three nurses that take that place. They play and the film both demonstrate many people or crowds in the murals inside the castle. It is understood there is a state of hell
