I started this course to build up my confidence more and be more interacting with others. I completed a number of qualifications including Level 1 Certificate in Sport, Level 1 NVQ Sports and Active Leisure, Level 1 BTEC in Sports and Functional Skills in English and Maths.
My course ran for 15 weeks (3-4 days per week). As a part of the curriculum I developed the skills to become a trained sports coach through work experience and various workshops

My role as a nursery assistant was to supervise the children and plan activities to encourage them to participate. I would read and sing to the children and take them out to play. I was also responsible for the children’s hygiene in my care. I really enjoyed this role because I like working with children and love seeing them develop.
