Zoos are the places where animals are kept. Some people argue that animals shall not be kept in zoos as they deserve freedom. Zoos cannot provide them with enough space, therefore, they cannot run around so as to grow up freely.
On the other hand, some people argue that animals should be kept in zoos. Nowadays, forests and mountains have been cut down by people. If we leave animals alone, they might have nowhere to find food and nowhere to live. It is for the sake of the animals themselves that we keep them in the zoos.

My Conclusion about Zoo Animals
I really do believe that this question cannot be answered with YES or NO. For every positive reason to keep animals in zoos there is a negative reason and vice versa.
In the case of Izmir zoo, there is also the question of the baby elephant called Izmir. She was born into captivity and any suggestion to release her into the wild would probably result in her death due to a lack of life skills.
There will always be two camps when it comes to zoos. The people that believe Zoos are good for science, nature and to gain an understanding of the creatures that we share our planet with. Then there are those who believe zoos should be
