Han China and Imperial Rome held two of the greatest empires in the early centuries. The Han Empire existed from 206 B.C.E. to 220 C.E., and the Roman Empire existed from 31 B.C.E. to 476 C.E. Their success can be traced back to their similar, efficient political systems, but a few governmental differences can also be detected. A number of differences can be identified in their ways of politics. One difference is their form of government.
