Six Sigma is an extremely powerful tool to quality improvement in which it can be utilized within healthcare organization to meet needs and expectations of individuals in addition to enhancing profitability and cash flow. A healthcare organization can do this by explaining the goals and objective of the project such as to enhance patient satisfaction or decrease the individuals waiting time. Then, they can develop a performance baseline so they are able to compare the data evidencing mistakes. Also, they will always continue to evaluate and asses the performance and gather performance data by utilizing patient satisfaction surveys.
