Introduction
How do you know that the reality that you are perceiving is real reality? How do you know that the person that is sitting right next to you, and the materials around you is not a perceived imagination of your brain? Schizophrenia literally means “Split Mind” and it is commonly mistaken as a Multiple Personality Disorder or now known as a Dissociative Identity Disorder, but they are completely different, schizophrenia is a psychotic disorder that removes the barrier to distinguish a perception of reality to reality itself. An example of religiosity is typically a God will tell them what to do or hearing God’s voice, and a political example would be that the president, or the CNA is spying on them. Consequentially the individual may experience suicidal behavior and a combination of persecutory and grandiose delusions which may predispose the individual to harm him or her self and other people.
Disorganized Schizophrenia is also known as hebephrenia, A patient diagnosed with this psychotic disorder may experience disorganized speech, disorganized behavior, accompanied by silliness and uncontrollable laughter. Individual that is diagnosed with Catatonic Schizophrenia may experience waxy flexibility, is a tendency to remain in an immobile posture. For instance, if one were to move the arm of someone with waxy flexibility, they would keep their arm where one moved it until it was moved again, as if it were made from wax. (wikipedia of waxy flexibility) Similar to candle wax.
Undifferentiated Schizophrenia can be all or different sections of subtypes of schizophrenia, but does not meet criteria for Paranoid, Disorganized or Catatonic type alone. (DSM IV)

Statistics of Schizophrenia
Schizophrenia affects only 1% of the general population. 3.2 million people in America suffers from schizophrenia. In Van Nuys High School that has approximately 3000 students, 30 students in the high school may have schizophrenia. “Today the leading theory of why people get schizophrenia is that it is a result of a genetic predisposition combined with an environmental exposures and / or stresses during pregnancy or childhood that contribute to, or trigger, the disorder.”(schizophrenia.com)
