ANALYSIS According to Sigmund Freud theory, personality consists of three elements, which are known as the id, the ego, and the superego that work together to create complex human behaviour. The id is an unconscious aspect of personality which includes the instinctive and primitive behaviour. The ego is the aspect of personality which is responsible for dealing with reality that develops from the id and expresses it in the acceptable way in the real world. The superego is the aspect of personality which incorperate moral standards and ideals that we learn from our parents and society to provide guidelines for making judgement.
