Each photo I chose to include into my artwork represents an event or object that was crucial to the story. My collage is comprised of thirteen photographs, representing the plot of the story. Most importantly, I included a photograph of the city of Dublin, where the story took place. In the center of my collage, there is a large clock. This represents Gabriel’s absence at the beginning of the party when his family was worried that he wasn’t going to show up. There is a photo of a house maid. There is also a photograph of a bottle of ale, which the women were drinking at the dinner table. The next event is the feast.
