Walt Masters gets shot at and attacked when saving Loren Hall's claim from getting jumped. Farah Ahmedi escapes Afghanistan to Pakistan, sacrificing her time so that her mother could rest, and Aengus spent his entire life searching for the "glimmering girl". However, all three were willing to do whatever it takes to reach their goals or to do what was right, even if it meant risking or even sacrificing their lives. In doing this, he risked his life to do the right thing because “he has a good heart, and is not afraid of the darkness and loneliness, of man or beast or thing.” (London para. 3).
