By getting your vaccines, you are protecting yourself from many different diseases. Some diseases that the vaccine protects are mumps, rubella, measles, hepatitis B, polio, diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, HiB disease, and chickenpox. These diseases can be very serious if you do not get vaccinated. Vaccines do not prevent you from minor colds, but minor colds are okay to get.
