Warm­Up

Session Content
Have them walking around trying to find space within an area slightly increase the difficulty of the way certain people move about the space and the size of the area.

Coaching Points
Encourage them to not just stick to there friends. Make sure to point out spaces that they could move into. Tell them to keep their head up and looking around for spaces. Time

Freely moving around in the area awaiting instruction to travel in a certain way to a cone or marker set up within the area Running to cones set up in a zig zag planting their feet when they get to each one so they can sprint off to the next one.
In 2 or 3 different groups have them in a small circle of cones shout out a direction which they will then have to race to against the other people in the group. Have them moving in different ways.
Have them move around in an area however they like encourage creativity
Play 2 or 3 games of
North East South West changing the way they have to travel. Allow the group to suggest the way they want to travel. Make into a competition by introducing the last person is out rule.

Cool­down Slowly walking into spaces

Keep a strong planting foot and use your whole body when pushing off.

Standing on balls of your feet so you can set off faster. If feet are planted then you won't be able to change direction as quick when stood still. If someone finds a creative way then have them show the group .
Again emphasis the balls of the feet because it is very important in agility so you can accelerate quickly from a standing point

In pairs role the ball towards your partner who has to stop the ball without using his hands he then picks up the ball and rolls it back to his partner to do the same.
