Japan had left the League of Nations, that is when they had invaded even bigger countries like China in 1937 and had lost many of these resources. America was the one that was done with Japan attacking all the other countries and had put a stop to the trade. Making Japan stand alone on getting their resources because they thought they were capable of taking down countries a lot bigger than them (Document B). In Document E it shows the timelines specific dates and events through Japan and the United States where the U.S. began an embargo. This is when it had really hurt Japan, American putting a stop in trading with all the oil resources, aircrafts and aircraft parts. The United States also had froze assets and bank accounts of Japan, meaning they were no longer able to receive money or get any items that were in need. This is when Japan had decided to strike and attack pearl harbor on December 7, 1941.
