As I sit down on campus next to a tree, many thoughts start to race through my mind. I start to think about family, and how I miss my grandpa. I know it’s been over 4 years but I just can’t help it. I’m excited to spend the holidays with my family that I do have. My family lives in Brooklyn, so since I don’t see them a lot it’s always a good time seeing them. Then I start to think about school. I think about the work load I have now that the semester is coming to an end. I knew that was going to happen because college is different then high school. I was prepared for it. But I also think about the people I have met. I have met some of the greatest friends. All these people have really made such an impact on my life and I never thought something like that would happen so fast. I met my best friend here at school, who is exactly like me. If I decided to go to community college and not Kean, I would have never met her. I’m so happy with my decision that I made to come here. Although no ones life is perfect, I’m happy with the way mine is going right now.

With finals coming up all my classes have been bombarding me with schoolwork as well. The only two classes that haven’t given me a lot of work is Political Science and Geography.
