Beowulf is a hero that shows bravery, loyalty, and leadership while on the hunt. Beowulf must show all these characteristics because he wants to be the strongest warrior. When Beowulf heard about how Grendel had filled nights with horror and wanted to do something about it, he filled up a boat and sailed across the sea. On the boat, there were some of the mightiest men on the boat ready to go fight Grendel. Once they land the boat they get greeted by a guard and are taken into Denmark, where the attacks have been going on at. Grendel only attacks at night, so Beowulf gets ready to sit and wait for Grendel to show up. The boat made it to where Grendel had been killing Hrothgar's men. Beowulf is extremely brave especially that once he found out that Grendel was attacking, he got his strongest men and went straight to Denmark to take care of the situation, he did this because he saw that nobody showed any bravery to go help so he stood up to show how brave he is, to also help them out. …show more content…
