Ans: The term “Manufacturing Consent” was borrowed from a book during the year 1921 by Walter Lippmann .He described manufacture of consent as the revolution in the practice of democracy. It is very useful because it is the common interest of the very largely escape from the public opinion. A specialized class can only manage it. Manufacturing Consent is more opposite of the common view of democracy according to Norm Chomsky.

In a military or totalitarian government state, it does not matter what people think, as there is someone at the top who is controlling everything. Nevertheless if the state loses the ruler or the governor, voices are heard because the people become arrogant, impatient and curious. They want to control what they think in a standard way. Propagandas are the standard way to manufacture a concept. In simple words it is a concept of creating illusions between people.

One of them is the people from the political class, which is mainly the 20 percent. People from that group are educated, can make their own decisions and they participate in social life, cultural relations and contribute to the economy. They vote and stand up for their own needs. So therefore their decision is important and then on the other hand side there is the other 80 percent of the population. People who are completely the opposite. People who follow others and not think for themselves and they don’t care about the economy of the decision-making process and at the end they're the ones who usually
