What is it? The women gave their son’s, husband’s, and their father’s to the war and some women even gave their lives to the war. Women did many jobs like cook, housekeepers, managed finances, and learned to fix the car. Women also took office and cleared jobs so that free men could fight in the war.
Office Women And Married Women
Women in the office drove trucks, repaired planes, and worked as technicians. Women also got married quickly to have more babies that can fight in the war when they get older. Women known as “WACs” worked in more than 200 non-combatant jobs.
What did they do? Sixty-five percent of the industry's total workers were women. Women like “Rosie the riveter” helped out by making propagandas and inspired
