Arya I- Arya, Gendry and Hot Pie are trying to reach Riverrun where Arya’s brother, King Robb is. They use a map, horses and weapons that Arya stole from Roose Bolton when they escaped Harrenhal to help them reach their destination. The group assumes that the Brave Companions are scouting them out and when they sleep, Arya has a dream that she is a wolf and kills the four Brave Companions on the lookout for her. We can only assume that she can warg into her Direwolf, Nymeria.
Arya II- As Arya, Hot Pie and Gendry are searching for food at an abandoned farm, three men stumble upon them; Tom of Sevenstreams, Lem and Anguy. They tell Arya they are the Kingsmen and they persuade them to come to a nearby inn. While at the inn, Tom gives Arya an agreement saying that she will be given three gold dragons (currency) after the War of Five Kings has ended for the horses she brought. Then Gendry who was watching the horses runs inside to tell Arya and Hot Pie there are people approaching. Arya is afraid that they are Ser Gregor Clegane (The Mountain who Rides) men and she senses a trap and breaks Lem’s nose and tries to escape. But the men walk in and she recognises one of them, Harwin. A member of her father’s household guard. Harwin announces her real name, Arya Stark in front of all the members at the inn to their surprise.
Arya III- Hot Pie stays at the inn as a baker with the innkeeper while the others leave to go to Riverunn. Harwin tells Arya how they rode into the Riverlands to find Gregor Clegane and give him the King’s Justice when Ser Gregor set up a trap and killed most of the King’s Men including Beric Dondarrion the leader. Thoros of Myr, a priest to the Lord of Light, brought Dondarrion back to life. The trap organised by Tywin Lannister to deal with Eddard Stark who Tywin thought would ride out personally to deal with Ser Gregor. After King Robert and Eddard Stark died, Tywin became Hand of the King and the men became outlaws but they still fought in the name of their former King. During the ride to supposedly Riverrun, Arya realises that the moss is growing on the wrong side of the tree and then realises she is not going to Riverrun. She tries to escape with Gendry but after awhile Harwin catches up to her and tells her that he is no longer her father’s man and now only serves Beric Dondarrion, Thoros of Myr and the Lord of Light.
Arya IV- Arya finds out that the men are apart of the Brotherhood without Banners, the group that Gregor Clegane was trying to find at Harrenhal using methods of torture. Arya is planned to be ransomed at Riverrun after they meet up with Lord Beric and Thoros. The Brotherhood arrive at High Heart and Lady Smallwood tells them that Thoros has through recently as well as Karstark men searching for Jaime Lannister.
Arya V- Arya arrives at the Stoney Sept and Harwin tells her about her father’s victory here when he defeated the Mad King’s Hand; Lord Connington. Arya is disturbed that the Karstark men have been starved and are caged because they were guilty of rape and pillaging. The Brotherhood without Banners stays the night at a local brothel and Arya watches the Mad Huntsmen, the same men who caught the Karstark men, bring a captive that Arya Stark recognises.
Arya VI- Arya and Gendry is brought before Lord Dondarrion at The Brotherhood’s sanctuary. We learn that the person Arya recognises is Sandor Clegane; better known as The Hound and he is about to be judged by the Lightning Lord (Beric Dondarrion). Since the first book in the series, A Game of Thrones, Beric Dondarrion who was once a beautiful man now is missing an eye, part of his skull is crushed, noose scar around his throat, very thin, and has a gaping wound in his chest. When Lord Beric asks for charges against The Hound, Arya accuses him of killing her friend, Mycah the butcher’s boy. The Lightning Lord then sentences Sandor to trial by combat where Lord Beric loses and is killed by The Hound.
