There are a wide range of individuals whose communication needs must be addressed within own job role. It is important within my job role that I communicate with many varied groups. Respect others confidentiality when communicating personal, sensitive or private information about adults using the services in appropriate, private area. When communicating to family members who may have visual, hearing impairments or their first language is not English, it is important to adapt your communication skills when communicating to them. Effective communication is a two way process, to be an effective communicator we have to see how others respond to the communication that is being received by them. When receiving communication they can react to it non-verbally through body language, so being able to read non-verbal communication is very important as this may be only kind of response in which we will receive if they do not have the confidence or the ability to communicate. Being able to read non-verbal communication through body language will help the person who is communicating to see whether the person has understood what has been said to them,
