Three major religions in the world are Christianity, Islam, and Judaism. Though these three religions have their own thoughts and ideas, they all have similar origins and history. All three religions believe in Abraham’s God, often referred as Yahweh, or Jehovah. Though the three religions have similar beliefs and origins, they constantly find themselves at war with each other. To understand why, one must understand each religion's origins and beliefs.

The first and most influential religion is Christianity. Christianity currently has about 2.2 billion followers around the world. Started by Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Christians believe that Jesus is the God in the human flesh and that he died for everyone’s sins. With that, everyone one owes God everything including time, worship, and praise. They also believe that they are saved by grace through faith in Christ (Ephesians 2:8), meaning there it is not by doing works that gets them in heaven, rather it is by believing that Jesus is God and he died for everyone’s sins. The second religion is the youngest out of the world's major religions, Islam. Islam’s origins is credited to Muhammad, a prophet who believed he had an angelic vision (Origin Of Islam). They believe that their holy book, Qur’an was given to Muhammad by God through Gabriel. The third religion is Judaism. These three religions have many things in common. First of all, each religion believes only in one God, which is Abraham’s God. This God that they believe in wants you to show faith through covenant (Genesis 12: 1-3). If you are disobedient, you will be punished when you pass away.
