Should school be 4 day week?
Many people believe that school should be 5 days a week, however a 4 day school week may be more beneficial. Studies have suggested, for optimal learning a 4 day school week is best and the school schedule should be reconsidered. Critics of the 4 day system are worried that having one day less that students are in class will result is a “loss of focus and information retention.” They also feel that a 4 day school week will negatively affect student’s attention spans, but many schools that use this new routine add 75 to 90 minutes to each school day, thus stimulating a higher train of thought from students.
