A Bridge to Wisemans Cove, is a book that teaches students about many life lessons. It is a book that should be mandatory through student’s education of the English curriculum. In my presentation I will provide you with evidence why this should be in our curriculum.
Heart break
In the novel A Bridge to Wisemans cove, is a book that throughout the book interprets and demonstrates heart break. Heart break is a technique shown throughout the book from the beginning until the ending, at first the two brothers Carl and Harley, their alder sister Sarah have trouble when their mother abandoned them without any notice as they felt neglected, they had no mother for them to take care of them, now in the hands of their older sister Sarah then realised that she was too young to look after her younger brothers and should travel and experience life. Leaving them with an Aunt Beryl who didn’t even want the children, Sarah then persuades aunt beryl to take the children if she gives them the social security cheque.
