As you mature in life your elders ask the same question over and over again. We all know what question I am talking about: “What do you want to be when you grow up?”, it may be asked in many forms and fashions. I myself have a different answer to that question almost every time I am asked. As of today I am debating on majoring in Clinical Psychology or Pre- Nursing, well I can’t do both so I have a big decision on my hands. Do I choose to heal physically or mentally? I first came to love the idea of psychology when my academic counselor, Mrs. Brenner, asked me to take a career aptitude test. I hope that the joy I see in shows is how it will actually be when I get down to possibly becoming one. I also have a passion for the thought of counseling at-risk youth, growing up I could have used more help than I got to help with a lot of pain and suffering from my surroundings at home.
