In school I am very involved with extracurricular activities, I am in many sports and organizations, I also work throughout the week to save up for college. My family has always pushed me to be the best I can be and I look up to all of them as they have pursued their dreams, now it is my turn to do so. I plan to go to Emporia State University to get a degree in Physical Therapy Assisting and help people for a living. When I was fourteen I had foot surgery which involved going to physical therapy to gain full mobility back in foot and ankle. Since then I have always had a passion for helping others go from pain to a normal life. Granted, there is still a lot I need to learn about being a Physical Therapist Assistant. I made up my mind about being a Physical Therapist Assistant when my brothers girlfriend got in a car accident and I saw her in the hospital right after surgery.
