Music stimulates my imagination. I’m not actually certain what drives me to do the things I enjoy doing but I love it. The experiences that I’ve had so far with the SECME projects have been fun but also difficult and a tad frustrating at times. When I work in groups for things like Balsawood Bridge, bottle rocket, and mousetrap I really liked working in a group because it really helps to have different ideas and since everybody does their part it’s not as hard as it is on one person. The drawing part of the project is very helpful to visually see your ideas and how it will work but sometimes it can be a little annoying, still useful though. So Forensic Anthropology is being able to identify a victims remains once their body is in the advanced stages of decomposition. They tend to work at the FBI, CIA, and military for criminal cases. Forensic Anthropologists, after they help locate and recover human skeletal remains, determine the age, sex, ancestry, stature, and other features of the skeleton. To get this job you would have to have a Master’s Degree but a Ph. D is preferred, and they get paid around $61,420 annually for all Anthropologists. I saw many universities from Florida on that SECME Universities Council Institutions. If more companies and universities contributed to SECME like the ones that do now, then they could improve the SECME experience and program overall. It’s kind of weird to think that there is all these universities and companies supporting SECME and what it stands for, to think that they were the ones who created it.
They were students once just like us striving for their goals and so much more. Who knew that one day SECME was going to be such a big thing that helps kids like me find their passion and have so much fun while doing it. SECME is an amazing program that gives students, who are set on their path for their career, a chance to feel what it will really be like, the interviews, the presentations, the teamwork, and so much more, yet still make it fun and exciting. It’s a new puzzle every time and there are challenges along the way but that’s the fun, finding ways to fix those problems, I guess I finally found out what “STEMULATES” my
