In the book “Of Mice and Men” , John Steinbeck gives many characters some type of powers over other characters in the book. Georges power over Lennie starts out as when they were kids. He would make Lennie do think that weren't safe. For example, he told Lennie to jump in the water knowing that he can't swim and that he might die. At the time George had a power over lennie that made it seem like he was a bully to him. Lennie isn't really smart enough to understand a lot of things he is supposed to do or not do . Doing this to leenie was wrong because he can't fight back or realize what George is doing is wrong and can endanger him.
