There are three phases in a hero's journey in this I will state all and how it compares to the movie hercules.In the movie hercules is born and is taken from his home by the villain and almost killed but he survives and is found by a couple but years later he is told that they are not his parents and he seeks out to find his real parents. In the departure phase, as outlined by Joseph Campbell, a hero will realize he is different than everyone in his ordinary world.
