As I browse my favorite sports website--Bleacher Report, my mood fluctuate as the sports statistics of my favorite basketball players go up and down. Statistics is important for both me and the players. 31.4 is only a number, but 31.4 PPG is a stat that describes the fascinating scoring performance of Russell Westbrook. You can say Stephen Curry is the greatest 3-pts shooter in the history, but it would be nothing without his career shooting percentage--44% 3P%.

Statistics and math is the perfect mix for sports management and I desire to pursue my passion in it. By majoring in ECMA, I can thrive within Bucknell’s academics and community. Professors like KB Boomer who teaches in both math and ECMA would guild me to gain deeper understanding
