A Prayer For Owen Meany Character Analysis

For my project on A Prayer for Owen Meany, I chose to do the Character Study. I examined and wrote about Owen Meany. Through writing this paper, I was able to further expand my knowledge about Owen. I began to really understand how much he trusts and understands God: “GOD HAS TAKEN MY HANDS. I AM GOD’S INSTRUMENT,” (87). This is a very important part of his life and is also a major theme of the story. I considered what his family life was like and how this affected him. I looked at the events that took place in this story and examined Owen’s role in them.
