One of the most common reasons behind a revolution is an unfair leader. Some famous examples of this would be the French Revolution and The American Revolutionary War. Although it does depend on how far you take “unfair,” an unfair government could definitely be a valid reason to revolt. The Revolutionary War started because the American colonies felt it was unfair for the British Parliament to tax them for their debts, instead of the colonial governments. The Parliament taxed them for things they knew would affect the lives of the colonies, causing an outbreak.
