Peter Singer’s book was truly enjoyable to read. I was astonished looking at the number of details and information that he provides, including statistics and describing the terrible situations animals are encountered with before their killing.
“...it is truly heart-rending to watch how a chicken tries again and again to crawl beneath her fellow-cagemates, to search there in vain for cover. ...hens will undoubtedly hold back their eggs for as long as possible.” (Singer, 2009, p. 114).

Due to all the thorough and detailed information that he provides, Singer’s arguments present three fallacies; an appeal to pity, loaded term, and an attack on the motive. Personally, I view Singer’s arguments as both weak and strong. Strong in the sense that
