It is always difficult to satisfy highly intelligent readers in such a small amount of text. An extraordinary example of this predicament can be found in Joshua’s Shenk’s, “The Power of Two”. It is an example of how limitations and having the wrong genre can severely agitate it’s audience.The four page entertainment article shines new light upon the aspect of the creative genius in hopes to entertain it’s intelligent audience. It focuses on terminating the outdated mythology of how a lone person is solely able for the creation of lone genius, whilst exemplifying the entirety of The Beatles in a matter of four pages. Firstly, “The Power of Two” is formulated under the wrong genre to sustain happiness with it’s readers. “The Power of Two” is listed under the entertainment genre, and the entertainment genre is not meant for intellectuals that can be found reading The Atlantic. The entertainment genre, is designed for the average joe of average intelligence to pick up the article wherever and whenever and thoroughly enjoy the article. Entertainment articles are generally an easy read, usually consisting of a couple pages, such as three or four pages, that leave the reader satisfied and accomplished after reading it thoroughly.
