The entrance that made the crowd roar in excitement as Caroline Kennedy introduced her ill uncle. The emotions ran high amongst the crowd. The chants “Teddy! Teddy! Teddy!” echoed with ferocity as Sen. Edward “Ted” Kennedy made his way to the podium to speak.
After suffering from brain cancer and having a recent brain surgery the Senator gave his speech in the Pepsi Center located in Denver Monday, Aug. 25, 2008. Chairman of the Democratic National Committee Howard Dean stated, “Ted Kennedy is known as the ‘Lion of the Senate’ and today he showed us why.”
