How exciting would it be if we were able to travel back in time or travel in space. A Wrinkle In Time and White Jade Tiger both consist of being able to time travel. A Wrinkle In Time is about a girl named Meg who is tessering through many places to find her father, while accompanied with Charles Wallace, Calvin and the W sisters. White Jade Tiger is about a girl named Jasmine who is staying with her aunt and travels through chinatown while meeting a chinese boy and ends up in the 1880s. In White Jade Tiger and A Wrinkle In Time there are many methods of time travel, dangers and purposes of time travel.
To begin with a method of traveling in A Wrinkle In Time can be explained as tessering. In the beginning Mrs.Whatsit tells Meg and Charles about how tessering is adding the four other dimensions ( A line, square, cube, and Einstein's method of time, with the fifth dimension being a tesseract). When you add the other four dimensions to a tesseract you can travel through space without going the long way around.Where as in the novel White Jade Tiger the method of traveling consists of Jasmine wearing a coolie jacket entering a store in Fan Tan Alley which leads her to a mysterious door where she accidentally finds herself in the 1880s.
