I have enclosed with this letter of application a brief CV outlining the key stages in my professional and personal journey. I believe that I have the experience demanded of this important position and an approach to leadership, management, and teaching and learning that is in line with the objectives of AISHK.
Over the years I have led independent schools in Australia, Hong Kong, Poland and Switzerland, particularly highly regarded schools on the international scene and leading schools in their respective countries. This has been an exhilarating and rewarding experience. Working and living in different countries and cultural settings has enhanced my approach to school education and goes some way to explaining the success I have experienced in each of my schools.
As teachers we strive daily to unleash the potential in each child. As school leaders we work with teachers to enable them to stimulate curiosity in children and to facilitate student learning. As a school Head I have worked tirelessly to provide excellence in teaching and learning so that each young person leaves school not only with a solid foundation but also with the widest range of opportunities for the future.
