I’m sure that you have heard of Aaron Rodgers before, but if not I will fill you in on whom Aaron is. Rodgers is a 31-year-old professional football player. He starts as the quarterback for one of the most storied franchises in the National Football League, the Green Bay Packers. For the first three years of his career he was backup to one of the best to ever play, Brett Favre. Rodgers took over the starting job in 2008 and has held that role ever since. He has won the Super Bowl once, receiving MVP of that game, and has been named league MVP twice. Aaron is known for being an extraordinary leader and always playing through pain. Also, he is seen joking on the sidelines with his coaches and teammates, making everyone smile. He has been the starter for seven years now, and has a record of 70 wins and 33 losses over that time period. If you ever watch a Packers game you will always see Rodgers changing play calls at the line of scrimmage, helping teammates know where to be, or giving them helpful hints or pointers on the sideline. I want to strive to be as superior of a leader as Aaron Rodgers. In soccer, I know I have the smarts and skill level to be able to help some of my younger teammates. In past seasons I have always been hesitant to step up and be a true leader, but with this being my last year I will strive to be the guy to step up.
