When you think of a farm, what comes to mind? A farmer who runs the farm right? Well not in this case, animals takeover, the farm. Power plays a big part in this book. Power starts from farmer Mr.Jones then to the leader of the animals the pig but right back to the humans. In the book animal farm as well as in our society the leader that rise to power are usually the cleverest or the intelligent and most able to manipulate others. How pigs rises to power, by intelligent and manipulating others. The pogs rise to power is all an manipulation game. They have to keep the some animals ignorant and manipulate them for their power. The pigs keep the other animals this way by calling them comrades, letting them think their on the same side and equal. Old major gets into the other animals heads when they have meetings while Mr.Jones is sleeping, they bring out all the bad the farmer did to them, like taking away the hens eggs or taking the cows milk from their babies. In animal farm pigs were the ones with the most power because “they taught themselves how to read and write from old spelling book”. The other animals learned to read and write but some couldn’t get past A,B,C and D. If they did they would forgot how to write A,B,C and D.
Some other qualities that are important for leaders. Qualities that are important for a leader to have in our society is intelligences, knowledge. You have to know what your talking about, know how you want everyone else to see it. You also have to know the background information and history in what you claim you know. Another quality is knowing how to get into people's heads, having them on your side.
