Accident vs. Intelligent Design Astronomy is “the branch of science that deals with celestial object, space, and the physical universe as a whole” (Oxford.com). When we measure light in astronomy we use light years, parsecs and astronomical units. A light year is, “how far a beam of light travels in a year.” (Crockett). One parsec is, “just over three light years.” (Crockett). An astronomical unit is “93 million miles.” (Crockett). The Big Bang Theory raises three major problems. The first one invalidates the First Law of Thermodynamics, which says, “Matter cannot be created nor destroyed only changed.” (Strickland). Secondly, The Big Bang also says that there was a huge explosion and everything came into be. How could one massive explosion lead to one detailed universe? And thirdly, the Laws of Nature are simple, “gravity stays the same, the speed …show more content…
Isaiah 40:22 says, “He stretches out the heavens as a curtain.” In 1905 Albert Einstein published the theory of special relativity. The principal of relativity states, “the laws of physics don’t change, objects move at the same constant speed.” The principle of light speed also states, “The speed of light is the same, regardless of source.” (Zimmerman & Robbins). The speed of light is 186,000 miles per second. The nearest sister galaxy to the Milky Way is the Andromeda Galaxy, which is two million light years away. Scientists still disprove Intelligent Design. Using the Newton’s Laws of Motion should get us started. An object at rest tends to stay in rest, while a body in motion tends to stay in motion. Since God put the universe together and since the Law of Motion don’t change, this point proves Intelligent Design. God created light and time, and light travels 186,000 miles per second no matter where its light source is. How can the Big Bang theory compare to the vastness of the universe, when it clearly is was designed to bring God
