Tone colour is used to express the message in this advertisement. The overall tone colour in this ad is powerful, strong, and extreme. All of these words are how Kia want their target audience to see the car. The message of this ad is that the new Kia nori crossover is powerful, fast, efficient and a blend of extremes. The music expresses the message of the campaign, because it resembles the words in sounds and music.

For example, the tone colour of the grunts the big rugby players make throughout the ad, which are powerful and strong, resemble the long lasting power of the car. Another example is the incredible piano playing. The tone colour is extraordinary, unique and extreme, this expresses the message that the new Kia is a blend of extremes.

The music in the background matches, what the man is saying which contributes to the overall effectiveness of this ad. The duration of the notes and sound effects in the background ties in the music to the words. For example, when the man says how fast, and effective the cars performance is, the notes in the background music change from slow and expected to fast and staccato.
