While reading the assigned lesson material these are a few of the things that really stood out to me. While I think I am a very diverse acceptance individual these handouts and Power Points say otherwise. According to the definition of diversity, a range of different people or things, our entire lives are full of diversity. How many of us truly value diversity, “Appreciate the uniqueness and similarities that each diverse group bring to the table”? Well I for one do not. We can also adapt to diversity, “Identify changes you need to make as a leader that will enable effectiveness in meeting educational and achievement needs of others”.
